The second day you'll be surrounded by the typical lunar landscapes of Crete Senesi, where you can also discover nice villages like Asciano and Chiusure, or visit the Benedictine monastery of Monte Oliveto Maggiore.

Day 1 - Benvenuti in Toscana
Individual arrival, dinner on your own and accommodation in typical tuscan agriturismo. Upgrade in 4 or 5 stars hotel available on request with extra charge.
At your arrival you will receive all the informations to complete the bike tour in Tuscany.

Day 2 - Montalcino, San Quirico and Pienza
64 km – Elevation gain: 1180 meters
Climbing up to Montalcino, town of Brunello wine, and ride surrounded by the vineyards. Visit of Montalcino, medieval town surrounded by vineyards and beautiful view over the valley.
The landscapes of Val d'Orcia region, UNESCO world heritage site. Take a break in San Quirico d’Orcia, one of the most interesting village of the whole Val d'Orcia.
Visit of Pienza, the "ideal" city of the Renaissance time, also famous for its Pecorino cheese.
A nice ride along the Eroica gravel route to come back at the starting point.

Day 3 - Asciano, Chiusure and Abbazia di Monte Oliveto
59 km – Elevation gain: 1030 meters
Buonconvento, one of the most beautiful medieval village in Italy.
The Crete Senesi region, where badlands and biancane characterize the landscape in this part of Tuscany.
A short break at Asciano with its churches and museums.
Monte Oliveto Maggiore abbey, one of the most important and best preserved monastic complexes in Tuscany. The town of Chiusure, typical small tuscan village and perfect stop for lunch.
